Mr. Cunha is a seasoned capital markets executive with over two decades of experience in investment management, mineral resources, and energy transition sectors. Prior to his appointment as Interim CEO, Mr. Cunha was the Manager of Equity at Ace Capital, a prominent investment fund firm. He brings deep expertise in capital markets combined with a strong understanding of Brazil’s mining landscape.
Mr. Prins has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of the accounting and finance function, including corporate reporting, treasury management, risk management, and budgeting. Mr. Prins has served as the Chief Financial Officer for TSX, TSX Venture and NYSE listed companies, as well as privately held entities, across multiple industries including mining, oil & gas, agriculture and private equity. As CFO, Mr. Prins has led a variety of capital markets initiatives and oversaw several M&A transactions. Earlier in his career, Mr. Prins worked in the assurance practice at Ernst & Young.
Rogerio Barcellos is an Industrial Operations Executive and currently Chief Operating Officer at South Star Battery Metals, with more than two decades of leadership experience across mining, fertilizers, chemicals, and manufacturing. A Chemical Engineer with a strong background in operational excellence and continuous improvement, he has held senior roles at multinational organizations including EuroChem, JBS, Anglo American, Bunge, and BTG Pactual’s mining and fertilizer businesses. Throughout his career, Rogério has led complex industrial operations, driven performance optimization initiatives, and fostered high-performance teams focused on safety, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
